Every pound on a report is worked out from published research about how visitors behave, applied to typical figures for a business like yours, or to the figures you gave us. The arithmetic is shown on every line and the sources are listed on the method page. They are a reasoned estimate of what a problem is likely to cost. They are not a measurement of your business, and a decision made on them is yours.

A scan reads a site the way a visitor and a search engine already do: the pages it serves, the files it loads, and public records about the domain. It never submits a form, never signs in, never sends anything designed to break a site, and never follows a redirect to a private address.

The deeper checks that go beyond what a visitor sees run only on a domain whose ownership has been proved by placing a file on it. Paying does not unlock them. You may only prove ownership of a domain you control, and you may not use the service to examine a site you have no right to examine.

A report is a list of what we could see on the day, priced. A clean report does not mean a site is secure, fast or complete, and a finding does not mean a site has been attacked. We give the service as it is, without a warranty of any kind, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses that follow from acting or not acting on a report.

You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account. A paid plan is billed monthly, can be cancelled at any time, and stops at the end of the period already paid for. Watching a site sends one scan a day to it; we stop watching a site that asks us to, and we may stop watching a site that repeatedly cannot be reached.

The demonstration account is shared and public. Anything added to it can be seen and removed by anyone who signs in with it.

Do not use the service to scan a site with the intent of harming it, to overwhelm a site by scanning it repeatedly, to probe the defences of this service itself without permission, or to build a competing dataset from its reports. We may refuse or rate-limit scans and close accounts that do.

We may change these terms. The date at the bottom of this page changes when we do, and a change that affects a paid plan will be sent to the email on the account before it takes effect.
